Momots Works ("the Company") values your privacy and complies with all applicable data protection laws.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use personal information when you use the Mog app ("the App").

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following user information through Firestore:

  • App version

  • Account creation date

  • User name

  • Email

  • Gemini request count statistics

  • Last login date

  • Last update date

  • Login provider (Google or Apple)

  • UID

  • Subscription status and receipt information

2. Purpose of Data Collection

Collected information is used for the following purposes:

  • App maintenance and service analytics

  • Subscription verification and restoration

  • Service improvement and bug fixes

  • User identification and login management

3. Retention Period

  • User data is retained during the service usage period.

  • Data will be deleted immediately upon account deletion or when the purpose of use is achieved.

  • Data may be retained as required by applicable law.

4. Third-Party Data Sharing

The Company does not share user data with third parties except in the following cases:

  • When the user gives explicit consent

  • When required by law or by a legal authority

5. Data Processing Outsourcing

We use the following external services to operate the App:

  • Firebase Firestore / Analytics (Google LLC): data storage and analytics

  • AdMob (Google LLC): ad display and related analytics

These providers may store and process data outside of Korea (e.g., in the United States).

6. Data Storage Location

  • Some user information is stored in Firestore.

  • Diaries and AI feedback are not stored on servers — they are saved only on the user’s device.

  • When subscribed, users can back up and restore their data through Google Drive.

7. Data Deletion

Personal data is deleted without delay when no longer needed.

  • Users can delete their account directly in the Mog app.

    To do so, open the app → Settings → Account Management →  Delete Account. 
    This will permanently remove your data from our system.

  • Printed materials: shredded or destroyed

8. User Rights

Users may request access, correction, deletion, or suspension of their personal data at any time by emailing momots_works@naver.com.
